2009 Toyota Yaris Window Motor Parts Q&A
Q: How to install the Window Motor assembly for the front side of a sedan on 2009 Toyota Yaris?
A: Begin installing the front side power regulator assembly of the sedan by applying MP grease to the motor regions that slide and rotate. Fasten the power window regulator motor assembly with 3 screws through a "Torx" socket wrench T25 until it reaches 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Start by placing the front door window regulator sub-assembly then proceed to install the front door glass sub-assembly. The service hole cover of the front door should be installed along with the front door trim bracket. Afterward install the front door belt moulding followed by the outer rear view mirror. Fitting the door trim board sub-assembly should follow behind installation of the front armrest base upper panel and the front door lower frame bracket garnish. Follow the same procedure of attaching the cable to the negative terminal but maintain a torque of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).
