2008 Toyota Yaris Window Motor Parts Q&A
Q: How to install the Window Motor assembly for the rear side of the sedan on 2008 Toyota Yaris?
A: Before mounting the rear section power window regulator motor assembly for sedans you should apply MP grease to all sliding areas and rotational parts of the regulator motor. A T25 "Torx" socket wrench should be used to secure the power window regulator motor with three screws maintained at 5.4 Nm torque force (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Installation of necessary components begins with the rear door window regulator sub-assembly and ends with the rear door glass run installation. In between, install the rear door glass sub-assembly as well as the rear door window division bar sub-assembly. Place the rear door belt moulding and rear door Weather Strip. In the following step you should mount the rear door check assembly and the rear door service hole cover followed by the rear door trim bracket and the rear door trim board sub-assembly before installing the rear door armrest base upper panel. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal then tighten it with a force of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).
