The installation process begins with connecting the connector until terminal 30 gets attached using a nut while torque reaches 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf) before closing the terminal cap. Safely insert the side cover protruding section into the cylinder block terminal while guiding it until the two claws form a proper connection with the block; replace lost or damaged claws before continuing the installation process. The cable should be connected to the negative battery terminal by applying 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque.
