How to install the oil cooler assembly on 2009 Toyota Tundra?

Before installing the 1GR-FE lubrication system oil cooler assembly you should first maintain a clean condition on the mating surface of the cooler mounting. Before O-ring installation into the oil cooler apply a gentle coating of engine oil to the new ring. Before bolt installation onto the oil cooler union apply engine oil to its threads. Secure the oil cooler by running the oil filter bracket through its cutout then proceed to install it with the plate washer and oil cooler union bolt using a torque of 68 Nm (693 kgf-cm, 50 ft-lbf). The oil cooler hose joins with the No. 2 oil cooler hose to the oil cooler. During this stage you should fit the oil filter sub-assembly while adding engine oil and engine coolant. The engine oil level should be checked while looking for any oil leaks as well as inspecting for coolant leaks. Finally, install the V-bank cover.
