How to remove the oil cooler on 2008 Toyota Tundra?

The first step is to drain the engine coolant by first removing the V-bank cover before doing the next step of oil cooler removal in the 1GR-FE lubrication system. Next, remove the sub-assembly of the oil filter and disconnect the hoses of oil cooler. Disassemble the union bolt, plate washer, and the oil cooler and, last but not least, remove the O-ring.
