How to install the oil cooler assembly on 2009 Toyota Sequoia?

The first step for assembling the oil cooler with 2UZ-FE lubrication involves cleaning the contact surface on the cooler mounting before proceeding. Before placement on the oil cooler you should place a new O-ring into engine oil and then position it onto the cooler. Apply engine oil to both the threads and under the head of the union bolt along with installing the oil cooler assembly including its plate washer and union bolt while tightening it to 69 Nm (704 kgf-cm, 51 ft-lbf). Place the oil cooler fork against its bracket rib while fitting both oil cooler hoses to their connecting points. When complete install the oil filter assembly while you also add engine coolant before proceeding with engine oil addition. Verify oil and coolant leakages then verify engine oil quantity. As the final step of this procedure install the No. 1 engine under cover.
