How to install the rear coil spring and related components on 2009 Toyota RAV4?

The first step for installing the rear coil spring is to mount the insulator lower onto the suspension No. 2 arm. The installation begins with removing the rear coil spring LH before fitting it to the suspension No. 2 arm. You should place the stopper section of the insulator into the coil spring tip before installing it. Increase the rear suspension No. 2 arm assembly LH with a jack while keeping the coil spring's distinguishing mark facing outwards before securing it to the axle carrier including a bolt and nut. The first step is to install the rear stabilizer link assembly LH followed by the No. 2 parking brake cable installation and then the skid control sensor wire installation for 2WD. To install 4WD components you need to install the rear speed sensor that is located on the left-hand side. The rear wheel requires installation at 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) of torque. Secure the vehicle suspension system while tightening the left-hand arm of assembly No. 2 in the rear suspension. Test the speed sensor signal then examine and possibly correct any misalignment in the rear wheels.
