The technician begins front seat inner belt assembly installation by screwing it with a nut then applying 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf) torque. At all times prevent the anchor section from overlapping the front seat adjuster's protruding element. The remaining installation process involves connecting every connector and clamp together. The power seat assembly installation requires you to place the front seat assembly followed by rear inner seat track cover and rear outer seat track cover which is then followed by front inner seat track cover before installing front outer seat track cover and front seat headrest assembly. Relate the manual seat assembly before checking the front seat slide adjuster lock and installing the rear seat track cover and each front seat cover including the headrest assembly. The installation process requires cable connection to the negative battery terminal while keep in mind that system initialization could be needed after battery reconnection. A thorough check of the front seat assembly should be performed for power and manual seats before inspecting any SRS warning lights that exist on vehicles with front seat side Air Bags.
