How to remove and replace the radiator on 2009 Toyota Highlander?

Begin the radiator removal by taking off the No. 1 engine under cover and draining the engine coolant. The first step requires users to remove the cool air intake duct seal and then perform removal of the No. 2 inlet air cleaner and the No. 1 inlet air cleaner. Then, remove the radiator grille. Users must disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose then proceed to disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose alongside the inlet No. 1 oil cooler hose and the outlet No. 1 oil cooler hose. Detach the wire harness clamp from both sides of the fan shroud then disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector. The hood lock assembly (rather alone or together with the engine hood courtesy switch) needs removing according to applicability. The removal of the upper radiator support sub-assembly requires first disconnecting the low pitched horn and high pitched horn connectors, then detaching the hood lock control cable clamp and wire harness clamp. Next, unfasten the bolt while dividing the discharge hose sub-assembly. Finally, separate the five bolts to remove the sub-assembly. You need to move the cooler condenser assembly by unscrewing four bolts so you can access the radiator assembly and fan assembly with motor then pull out both assemblies while avoiding any strong force on the cooler condenser assembly or pipe. Detach the radiator reserve tank hose or pipe from the assembly before removing three bolts which will free the fan assembly with its motor to lift up from the radiator assembly. As the last step remove both the radiator support cushions and both lower radiator supports.
