How to Remove a Seat Belt Assembly Safely on 2009 Scion xD?

The beginning step to eliminate the front seat outer belt assembly involves disconnecting the negative cable of the battery and waiting 90 seconds to stop the Air Bag deployment. The first step involves taking off the scuff plates from the front and rear doors followed by separating the opening trim Weather Strips to reach the center pillar garnishes. First detach the lower claws of the seat belt anchor cover cap leading to the removal of its top claw. Then grasp and dispense the center pillar lower garnish. Remove the lap belt anchor cover through the deinstallation of its three claws. Remove the front seat outer belt components by removing the bolts and anchor plate and later the bolt and shoulder anchor. Remove the timing connector by unlocking its button followed by unplugging it. The removal process ends with elimination of the retractor and two bolts and two hooks and then proceeding to separate the center pillar upper garnish followed by the shoulder belt anchor cover disassembly through two claw release and front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly bolt hook and adjuster removal.
