The specific "TORX" socket wrench E10 tool must be used when you handle the rear seat to remove its outer belt assembly. The process begins with deck board sub-assembly removal then follows steps to separate the No. 1 rear seat leg cover and finally the rear seat assembly RH is detached. The next step requires removal of both the rear door scuff plate RH and the rear door opening trim Weather Strip RH. Begin worker sequence by removing first the rear deck trim cover followed by the rear seat outer belt assembly RH, the luggage hold belt striker assembly, the deck trim side panel assembly RH, and the roof side inner garnish RH. Use a screwdriver with taped-tip to open the slip joint cover by disengaging its two claws and proceed to take out the bolt and through anchor before removing the bolt and hook and bracket and ending with the bolt and two hooks and retractor. The seat belt anchor cover removal requires a moulding remover to detach the 4 claws before carrying out the removal. End the process by taking off the rear seat shoulder belt cover until you can reach the shoulder belt anchor cover on the right-hand side.

Remove the bolt, the hook, and the bracket.

Remove the front and rear door scuff plates, then detach the front and rear door opening trim weatherstrips to access the upper and lower center pillar garnishes.

Install the lap belt outer anchor cover by engaging the 3 claws.
