    A: Begin power steering rack and pinion installation by putting on the tie rod end sub-assembly LH while aligning its matchmarks followed by tightening the lock nut to 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). The procedure for installing the tie rod end sub-assembly RH follows the same pattern. 2 bolts and 2 nuts must be installed to the power steering rack and pinion and front suspension crossmember but the installation requires 96 Nm (979 kgf-cm, 71 ft-lbf) torque and prevents nut rotation. Support the front suspension crossmember with a transmission jack before installing it provisionally onto the body using six bolts. Special Service Tool 09670-00011 guides the torque application of bolts A, B, and C through the front suspension crossmember datum holes of RH and LH units using vertical tool insertion. The torques must reach 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf) for Bolt A, 160 Nm (1,631 kgf-cm, 118 ft-lbf) for Bolt B, along with 95 Nm (969 kgf-cm, 70 ft-lbf) for Bolt C. A torque of 120 Nm (1,224 kgf-cm, 89 ft-lbf) should be applied when installing the engine moving control rod. The same installation process should be used to mount the front suspension lower arms LH and RH before advancing to the installation of front stabilizer link assemblies LH and RH. The tie rod end sub-assembly installation proceeds identically for both LH and RH sides. Fasten the front wheel with a torque of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) then secure the No. 1 steering column hole cover sub-assembly with clip B attached to the body and clip A securing column No. 1 while maintaining the lip portion intact. The head of the steering sliding yoke sub-assembly must align its matchmarks which allows installation onto the intermediate shaft through bolt tightening to a torque of 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26 ft-lbf). Screw two clips onto the column hole cover silencer sheet before completing the installation with the floor carpet. The installation procedure includes front wiper arm and blade assemblies LH and RH and front wiper arm head cap along with hood to cowl top seal, cowl top ventilator louver LH, cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly, front wiper motor and link and front air shutter seal RH and the outer cowl top panel. Complete the job by connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal using 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque while directing the front wheels to straight ahead position. Then perform checks on front wheel alignment, ABS speed sensor signal, and VSC sensor signal.
