Remove the speaker connector from the front No. 1 speaker assembly before drilling out its 3 rivet heads using a drill with a 4 mm (0.16 in.) size bit by doing circular cuts on the rivet heads to cut the flange. Due to the high temperature of the remaining cut rivet be careful during handling and keep the drill oriented directly at the rivet for security. Drilling into the flange must be followed by additional drilling motions to push out loose pieces while using a vacuum to remove fragments and cuttings found within the door.
