How to remove the Air Filter Box on 2009 Scion xB?

The first step for air filter box removal from 2AZ-FE intake requires the uninstallation of the mass air flow meter. Take out the vacuum switching valve assembly which is No. 1 from the system. Start by unscrewing the No. 1 air filter box hose clamp followed by unlocking the air filter box assembly clamp then taking out the air filter box cap sub-assembly. Take out the air filter box filter element sub-assembly followed by separating the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose and disconnecting the ventilation hose. The wire harness must be separated after the No. 1 air filter box hose is removed by loosening its hose clamp. The air filter box sub-assembly requires removal of its three bolts and you must next loosen the No. 2 intake air resonator hose clamp then strip away the No. 2 intake air resonator to remove the union tube.
