You have to separate and properly discard the lithium battery from the tire pressure warning valve sub-assembly during disposal. The tire pressure warning valve sub-assembly disposal requires using a screwdriver tip to separate its back cover so you can expose the battery and base board covered by resin. When removing the battery cut the 2 terminals which attach it to the base board and take note that silicon has covered the battery and base board.
