The installation of the Evaporative Emission Control Canister for 1NZ-FE requires three bolts that need to be torqued to 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf). Secure the canister with three bolts applied at 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) then link the vent line hose to the canister followed by linking the air inlet line hose to the leak detection pump and finishing with attaching the purge line hose. Secure the cable connector then hook up the cable to the negative battery terminal and tighten it up to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque.
