The first step to remove a 1GR-FE throttle body requires disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable and waiting 90 seconds after ignition shutdown for the navigation system to record data and settings. Food the under cover off the No. 1 engine position while draining your engine coolant then take out the front wiper motor assembly with its link components. You should move forward by removing the front cowl top outer panel sub-assembly then the V-bank cover along with the No. 2 air cleaner hose and air cleaner assembly with element. Endwater bypass hoses for both No. 5 and No. 4 as well as throttle position sensor and throttle control motor connector require removal before you can unscrew the four retaining bolts for throttle body extraction with motor and gasket.
