How to install the throttle body on 2008 Toyota Tacoma?

A new gasket should be mounted onto the intake manifold before installing the throttle body on 2TR-FE engine control system. Use 2 bolts and 2 nuts to attach the throttle with motor body before achieving 9 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf) of torque. Begin by connecting water by-pass hose and water by-pass hose Number 2 and afterwards attach the throttle motor connector. Fasten the intake air connector by tightening 3 bolts to 8 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) and secure the 2 hose clamp bolts at 5 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf). After attaching the wire harness clamp you must join the pressure sensor connector and the vacuum hose with ventilation hose number 2 and another vacuum hose. Finish the procedure by connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal at 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf) torque while also conducting checks for leakages then adding engine coolant before installing engine under cover sub-assembly No.1 for 4WD and Pre-Runner models.
