  A: A proper start to remove the 2TR-FE fuel injector includes depleting fuel system pressure then disconnecting the negative battery cable. Start by taking sub-assembly number 1 of the engine under cover removal and draining all engine coolant. Transfer the intake air connector and throttle with motor body assembly from its installation spot.
