  A: The first step for removing the fuel injector assembly in a 2TR-FE engine requires discharging fuel system pressure and disconnecting the negative battery cable terminal. Drain the engine coolant after you pull off the engine under cover sub-assembly No.1. The first step includes taking off the intake air connector and the throttle with motor body assembly. Start the hose disconnect process by raising the checker while pressing the detaching switch of the fuel hose connector to remove the hoses. The process requires care to prevent foreign materials from entering the fuel tube connector and to protect the parts from damage by foreign objects. Manually perform all tasks without using tools while covering each part segment with a vinyl bag.
