Starting with the removal of the No. 2 air cleaner inlet proceed to the front bumper assembly. Unfasten the discharge hose sub-assembly bolt while extracting the O-ring and secure both ends with vinyl tape to stop moisture and foreign matter from getting inside. The cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A requires removal by dislodging its bolt and O-ring accompanied by vinyl tape usage to seal both openings. Remove the No.1 air cleaner inlet followed by the hood lock release lever protector then the hood lock assembly together with the hood lock support sub-assembly. The technician needs to disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector then take out the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
