    Q:
How to install an A/C Condenser and complete the necessary steps on Toyota Sienna? Posted by Customer
    A:
Two screws should hold the cooler condenser core in place by reaching 3.9 Nm torque while new condenser installations require 40 cc (1.4 fl. oz.) of ND-OIL 8 or its equivalent compressor oil. The installation process now requires placement of the No. 1 radiator support followed by the radiator support cushion. The installation of the No. 2 oil cooler outlet tube sub-assembly requires 2 bolts that should be torqued at 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf). Install the upper radiator support sub-assembly after connecting the cooling fan ECU then add the hood lock support together with its components including assembly and release lever protector. To install cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A begin by removing the vinyl tape from the pipe and the cooler condenser core connection and then apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface before placing the O-ring and fastening the pipe with a bolt torqued to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf). Repeat the discharge hose sub-assembly installation process by removing vinyl tape then using a new O-ring with compressor oil before installing the O-ring and bolting it with 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf) torque. Next install both the front bumper assembly together with the No. 2 air cleaner inlet. The technician must conduct a refrigerant charge then heat the engine until ready for a leak inspection. Finish by performing the fog light aiming-preliminary steps before inspecting and adjusting the lights as needed.
