- Q: How to remove the front wiper motor on 2008 Toyota Sequoia?A: The first step to remove the front wiper motor starts by removing the right-hand front wiper arm assembly with its blade through nut removal. The same process must be performed on the left-hand side. The next step involves freeing the claw to remove the front fender to cowl side seal from the right-hand side before doing the same with the left-hand side. You should start by detaching the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly through removal of its 2 clips together with 6 claws and 8 guides. Remove the connector then untighten the nut before extracting the 4 bolts which will separate the front wiper motor and link assembly. A screwdriver taped with protective tape can be utilized to deduct the rod which connects the wiper link assembly to the crank arm pivot of the front wiper motor. Mark the parts for alignment purposes. You must first remove the nut before taking off the crank arm and then unfastening the windshield wiper motor through three bolts.
