Start by putting the parking brake cable through the backing plate before attaching it to the lever of the parking brake shoe. The cable must be bolted to the backing plate where 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) torque ensures proper installation. Fix the clamp with bolt F to the trailing arm while using 6.0 Nm torque (61 kgf-cm) that ensures proper installation. Follow the same procedure to install the clamp and clamp bolt (E) on the rear suspension crossmember followed by the clamp and clamp bolt (D) on the crossmember then clamp and clamp bolt (C) on the body while torquing each segment to 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf). Install the casing cap alongside its casing cap bolt (labeled B) onto the body section while securing it in place by torquing to 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf). Distance A of the cable clamp must be mounted safely onto the body surface. Secure the parking brake equalizer by attaching all its cable ends to its surface. Follow these procedures for the rear console box sub-assembly installation starting from the placement of the No. 1 console upper panel garnish.
