Users should pass the cable from the engine room through the grommet starting from the rear side until reaching the cable stopper attachment. Place the front section of the cable through the upper radiator support before securing it using the clip illustrations. Secondly attach the hood lock control cable before mounting the Hood Lock Control Lever Sub-Assembly through two claw points. The installation of Front Fender Main Seal LH requires installation of its three clips. Install hood lock assembly by applying MP grease to moving parts while attaching the hood lock control cable before using 2 bolts with a nut to fix the assembly with a torque of 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). Finally, connect the connector. Fasten a fresh hood lock nut cap before you achieve the Hood Cable Cover with the hook and fasten three screws to secure it. End your installation process by attaching the radiator grille with its corresponding upper radiator support seal.
