The No. 2 ECM bracket should be installed with two screws following completion of 3.0 Nm (32 kgf-cm, 28 in-lbf) torque setting. Begin with mounting one ECM and fastening its 3 nuts following a torque of 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). Afterward, establish 5 connector connections. The automatic transmission 4WD system requires installer to mount a four wheel drive control ECU with a 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf) bolt torque then establish contact between the proper connector. The glove compartment door assembly can then be installed. You should secure the cable at the negative battery terminal by using 3.9 Nm of torque (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf).
