  A: The procedure for removing the 2ZR-FE fuel system fuel level sensor assembly begins by taking off the No. 1 seat leg cover followed by the No. 2 seat leg cover and lastly the rear seat assembly. Begin by eliminating the rear floor service hole cover followed by draining fuel system pressure. Disconnect both components including the fuel tank main tube sub-assembly and the fuel tank vent hose. The first step is to remove the fuel pump gauge retainer before you extract the fuel suction and pump assembly with the gauge tube. Last step before removal of the fuel level sensor assembly requires disconnecting its connector followed by releasing the lock using upward sliding motion of the fuel level sensor while keeping the indicated tube intact.
