Then connect the connector. Secure the rear wiper motor by torquing three bolts to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) while connecting the connector afterward. The installation of the rear wiper arm requires metal powder removal from its serrated surface with a round file followed by cleaning of wiper pivot serrations using a wire brush. Before installation, operate the wiper system and stop the motor in automatic stop. Install the rear wiper arm in its correct position then fasten it with a nut set at 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) torque while continuously pressing down on the arm. Complete the wiper arm head cap installation while putting in place the back door trim board assembly.
