You should begin the 2AZ-FE engine control system ECM installation process by attaching the bracket to the ECM through 4 screws then securing the ECM with 2 bolts which must be tightened to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). First secure the 2 ECM connectors before installing both lock knobs and the harness clamp followed by the wire harness clamp. The air cleaner set-up requires 3 bolts to attach its case sub-assembly with 7.0 Nm torque force (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf). Afterward attach the wire harness followed by the air cleaner filter element sub-assembly installation. The complete installation of the wire harness requires locked air cleaner cap sub-assembly and air cleaner hose where installation starts with tightening the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp before connecting the mass air flow meter connector.
