The O-ring of the fuel pressure pulsation damper needs a thin layer of gasoline or spindle oil before installing the assembly for 2AZ-FE engines. The fuel pressure pulsation damper requires 2 bolts which should reach 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf) torque while inspecting the O-ring for damage or blockage. Follow up installation by adding the fuel main tube together with the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and the engine cover sub-assembly. To finalize the procedure connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery then inspect for fuel leaks and follow initialization steps for systems which need this process when reconnecting the cable to the negative terminal.
