Place the front wheels in a straight forward position before removing the lower No. 3 steering wheel cover, lower No. 2 steering wheel cover, steering pad, steering wheel assembly, lower steering column cover, upper steering column cover, spiral cable sub-assembly followed by the steering angle sensor. The installation order starts with the steering angle sensor and continues with the spiral cable sub-assembly followed by upper and lower steering column covers and spiral cable adjustment. Reconnect the negative battery cable after installing the steering wheel assembly together with steering pad and lower No. 3 and lower No. 2 steering wheel covers.
