Service begins by taking out the V-bank cover followed by the No. 2 air cleaner hose and after that remove the air cleaner assembly with the element. Before installing new parts commence by detaching the 6 ignition coil connectors followed by removing the 6 bolts together with the 6 ignition coils. A 16 mm plug wrench helps workers to remove the spark plugs. The 16 mm plug wrench should be used to install spark plugs by achieving 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf) torque. Install the 6 ignition coils first before adding the 6 bolts keeping the torque at 9.0 N.m (92 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf). Finally, connect the 6 ignition coil connectors. The last installation step includes putting back the air cleaner assembly along with its element followed by securing the No. 2 air cleaner hose and V-bank cover.
