  A: Service and repair of the PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH requires disconnecting the battery cable from both negative and park/neutral position switch connectors followed by unlocking and removing the park/neutral position switch assembly through unstaking with a screwdriver for the lock washer before removing the nut and lock washer and grommet and bolt.
