How to service and repair the rear Suspension Strut Rod on 2007 Toyota Solara?

In order to service the rear strut rod, take off the rear wheel and remove the strut rod assembly. Disconnect the strut rod to the rear axle carrier, and make sure that the nut is not rotated. Reassemble with the addition of tightening bolts to the designated torque and then reassemble the wheel and verify alignment.
