  • Q: How to service and repair the Yaw Sensor on 2007 Toyota Sienna?
A: A proper servicing procedure starts by checking that the yaw rate sensor remains undamaged and that foreign material is absent between the yaw rate sensor bracket and body and by verifying correct sensor orientation. You should begin the procedure by removing the front seat assembly RH before moving on to the front door scuff plate RH and finally taking out the cowl side trim board RH by discharging its nut and cowl side trim board plate RH. Separate the yaw rate sensor connector before uninstalling the yaw rate and deceleration sensor by removing its two bolts. The yaw rate sensor gets connected to its own connector before mounting it with 2 bolts that require torque setting to 13 Nm (136 kgf.cm, 10 ft. lbs.). Reinstall the cowl side trim board RH while fastening it to the nut then install the front door scuff plate RH afterward the front seat assembly RH. Carry out yaw rate and deceleration sensor zero point calibration as well as verify the ABS speed sensor signal after finishing installation.
