  A: Begin by disconnecting the battery and follow with a removal of the No.2 air cleaner inlet along with the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and air cleaner filter element and air cleaner case sub-assembly and air cleaner bracket by separating the 2 bolts. Detaching the No.1 air cleaner inlet starts by unscrewing its securing bolt. Disconnect the starter connector followed by opening the terminal cap and taking out the nut and starter wire then remove the 2 bolts that support the starter assembly. The installation requires securing the starter assembly with its 2 bolts torqued to 37 N.m (380 kgf.cm, 26 ft.lbf) then reconnecting the starter connector. Apply the terminal nut along with the cap before torquing it to 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf). Start by installing the No.1 air cleaner inlet with its bolt and perform tightening to 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf) before attaching the air cleaner bracket with torque at 7.8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in.lbf). The last steps include reinstalling the air cleaner case sub-assembly followed by the air cleaner filter element and air cleaner cap sub-assembly, No.2 air cleaner inlet, and then reconnecting the battery.
