2007 Toyota Sequoia Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service the Fuel Pressure Regulator on 2007 Toyota Sequoia?
A: Service of the Fuel Pressure Regulator begins by disconnecting both the vacuum hose from the intake air resonator and the fuel return hose from the pressure regulator while setting a shop towel below to absorb any spills. The service starts with removing two screws securing the pressure regulator before extracting it from the system and eliminating the O-ring. Before putting in the new O-ring you should soak it briefly with gasoline and then seal the pressure regulator with it. Proceed with installing the pressure regulator onto the delivery pipe by adjusting it through left-right movements followed by tightening the 2 bolts up to 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf). Last step involves connecting the vacuum hose to the intake air resonator followed by reconnecting the fuel return hose to the pressure regulator. Then perform a leak check.
