  A: A proper fuel tank maintenance process requires you to discharge system pressure along with removing the spare tire before starting work. The first step involves disconnecting the fuel pump connector before removing the fuel tank protector through removing its 2 bolts and 2 nuts. The service begins with disconnecting the fuel main tube then the return tube before addressing the fuel tank vent hose through connector insertion into the charcoal canister to unlock the tab then A pinching then connector extraction. The removal of fuel inlet and breather hoses begins with unscrewing the clamp bolt and freeing the fuel inlet hose from fuel filler pipe then detaching the breather tube.
