How to Remove and Replace a Rear Seat Inner Seat Belt on 2007 Toyota Camry?

The removal of the rear seat inner belt assembly starts by disassembling the rear seat cushion and removing the headrest assemblies and rear seat back assemblies according to seat design before taking off the rear door scuff plates with their Weather Strips. Remove both sub-assemblies of the reclining remote control lever together with the child restraint seat anchor brackets from both sides of the vehicle. The rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH requires bolt removal according to TMC made vehicles while TMMK made vehicles need nut removal for this operation. To dismantle the rear seat outer belt assemblies and remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover together with hole cover point to employing a screwdriver. Begin by taking out the package tray trim panel assembly while allowing the rear seat belt floor anchors to move through it. Install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH first by setting its tilt angle correctly and tightening it to 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). The procedure calls for attaching the package tray trim panel assembly as a first step before you install the rear seat shoulder belt covers then connect the rear seat outer belt assemblies, torquing to 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). Assemble and torque the roof side inner garnishes and connect and torque the rear seat inner with center belt assemblies for TMC and TMMK made vehicles. The installation sequence ends with child restraint seat anchor brackets followed by reclining remote control lever sub-assemblies and rear door scuff plates and all seat back assemblies while the rear seat cushion assembly must be the final installation.
