How to service and repair the Canister Purge Valve on 2007 Scion tC?

In order to maintain the Canister Purge Valve, de-hook the negative battery and allow 90 seconds. Disconnect the connector and hoses of the purge VSV. Install the purge VSV again, reconnect hoses and connector, connect the battery and finishes off by initializing when required.
