Detachment of the sensor can be performed through sensor connector removal and application of Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to separate it from the front exhaust pipe. Installation requires the same workpiece to secure the new sensor onto the front exhaust pipe with 40 N.m torque when using the tool or 44 N.m when not using it at 30 cm fulcrum length. Connect the sensor connector after which you must initialize systems by reconnecting the battery cable while some systems require this procedure following battery connection. Exhaust gas leaks need to be inspected as the last protocol.
