How to service and repair the throttle body on 2006 Toyota Tundra?

Before starting throttle body service you must drain engine coolant followed by removing the V-bank cover and air cleaner. BelieveN0.5 and N0.4 water bypass hoses need disconnecting before you can separate the throttle body through throttle motor connector removal followed by unfastening its 4 bolts and gasket removal. Put the throttle body together with the motor and apply a new gasket before installing its four bolts that need torquing to 11 Nm (112 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) for the assembly. Reconnect the throttle motor connector afterwards. After that connect water by-pass hoses N0.4 and N0.5 before reinstalling the air cleaner and V-bank cover while adding engine coolant and inspecting for any engine coolant leaks.
