In order to service the parking brake, take off the rear wheel and caliper, then remove the parking brake so as to remove the rear disc. ;Take the parking brake shoe assemblies off and check the thickness of the brake disc and shoe lining. Assemble again with adequate lubrication, fit the parking brake and reassemble the wheel and caliper.
