It is necessary to detach the tie rod assembly LH with Special Service Tool: 09628-62011 followed by the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH then remove the front axle assembly LH. To remove the lower ball joint assembly front LH you need Special Service Tool: 09628-62011 together with the removal of the cotter pin and nut. Use a torque wrench to measure the turning torque on the lower ball joint assembly front LH after flipping the ball joint stud back and forth five times but keep the measure within 0.98 to 3.43 Nm (10 to 35 kg-cm, 8.7 to 30 inch lbs.). To install the lower ball joint assembly front LH tighten the nut to 123 Nm (1,250 kg-cm, 91 ft. lbs.) using a new cotter pin but increase the tightening of the nut up to 60 degrees in case of misaligned cotter pin holes.
