The air cleaner cap sub-assembly requires removal through three steps: first disconnecting the mass air flow meter connector and VSV connector along with each of the two wire harness clamps before disconnecting fuel vapor feed hoses No. 1 and No. 3 from the VSV and next disconnecting the ventilation hose No. 1 from the cylinder head cover. Also, check engine coolant levels as well as inspect for any coolant leaks then connect the battery negative terminal at 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf).
