How to service the radiator on 2006 Toyota Highlander?

The radiator servicing process starts by draining engine coolant followed by disconnecting the reservoir tank hose along with radiator inlet hose and outlet hose and hoses from the oil cooler outlet No.2 and No.3. You must first remove the two bolts from the radiator support upper before you can remove the radiator assembly by disconnecting the fan motor connector to take out the radiator from the body. Start by disassembling the radiator support lower and fan and motor devices through the removal of 6 securing bolts from the fan-radiator connection. Install the fan to the radiator by using 6 bolts and tighten them to 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.). Reinstall the body assembly of the radiator while connecting back the fan motor connector. The installation process first requires tightening the 2 radiator support upper bolts until they reach 12.8 Nm torque (130 kgf-cm, 9.4 ft. lbs.). Then proceed to add engine coolant before conducting a leak test for coolant.
