The radiator should be tested for leaks by using Special Service Tool: 09230-01010 to seal the inlet and outlet pipes. A radiator cap tester at 177 kPa (1.8 kgf/cm2, 26 psi) pressure must be applied while the radiator is submerged in water during the inspection. Swishing the radiator removes trapped air before the test begins.
