How to service the front Air Bag sensor on 2006 Toyota Highlander?

First service the front Air Bag sensor by reading all information in Air Bag Systems; Service Precautions. You should disconnect the negative battery terminal cable before waiting for 90 seconds to avoid Air Bag deployment. Disassemble the radiator grille then detach the front bumper cover with the headlight assembly before separating the connector and unscrewing the two bolts which secure the front Air Bag sensor LH. The process of installation starts after you switch off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal for no less than 90 seconds. Secure the front Air Bag sensor LH through installing two bolts which should be torqued at 9.0 N.m (92 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf).
