  A: Before starting vacuum brake booster assembly service and repair you need to drain brake fluid while removing fluid contact from painted surfaces. First detach both the air cleaner cap sub-assembly along with the air cleaner case sub-assembly by way of removing the air cleaner element followed by the 3 bolts. The vehicle needs Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 to take out the brake master cylinder sub-assembly before breaking the brake master cylinder push rod clevis apart. Detach the cruise control actuator assembly using the tool to remove its 2 nuts and bolt then place it to one side.
