How to replace the Air Bag Sensor Rear LH on 2006 Toyota Camry?

Before starting the replacement of the Air Bag Sensor Rear LH you must follow the identified service precautions for Air Bag Systems. The negative terminal of the battery power needs to be separated before both the rear seat cushion and rear side seat back assembly LH are removed. First disconnect the connector from the Air Bag sensor rear LH after which remove its two securing bolts. Installation of the new Air Bag sensor rear LH requires that you disconnect the battery negative terminal first then wait a minimum of 90 seconds with the ignition switch off before starting the work. A suitable bolt with 17.5 N.m (178 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) torque for property class 6T or 20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) torque for property class 8T must be used to install the sensor through its two bolts. You should obtain a new Air Bag sensor to replace it when the existing sensor has suffered drops or shows physical damage. Insulation and routing of SRS wiring should be done in a way that prevents contact with other vehicle components and protects from pinching at all times. Verify that the installed sensor remains tight by inspecting it after its connection. The last step includes checking the SRS warning light after reinstalling the rear side seat back assembly LH while inspecting the air bag sensor rear LH.
