  A: Draining engine coolant is the first step in servicing the water pump followed by removal of the engine under cover RH, generator V belt and engine mounting insulator subassembly RH. Special Service Tool: 09960-10010 (09962-01000, 09963-00600) allows you to hold the water pump pulley before removing its 3 bolts. Remove the water pump assembly after unboltting its 3 bolts and 2 nuts followed by taking out the water pump and gasket. Position a new gasket together with the water pump by using the 3 bolts and 2 nuts as you apply 11 Nm (112 kgf-cm, 8 ft. lbs.) torque. The water pump pulley installation requires 3 bolts that need a torque of 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.), using Special Service Tool: 09960-10010 (09962-01000, 09963-00600). The procedure finishes with reinstalling the engine mounting insulator subassembly RH followed by the generator V belt and its proper adjustment.
